Santa Clarita Sees More Than Three Inches Of Rain During ‘Storm Of The Season’

The Santa Clarita Valley has been hit with over 3 inches of rain since Tuesday, with sunshine expected to finish out the week, officials said.

Starting Friday, Santa Clarita should see clear skies, according to weather specialist Bryan Kittell with the National Weather Service.

“It will be cloudy throughout the morning but soon to clear up with some clouds between lunchtime and evening,” Kittell said. “Santa Clarita are expected to continue with most breaking clouds during nightfall.”

Throughout the afternoon, temperatures will be reaching highs of about 65 degrees and then begin dropping to lows around 51 degrees through the evening into the night. Low temperatures will continue through the weekend.

“There will be a high push back to the lower (to) mid 70s,” said Kittell.

On Tuesday, the weather will warm up to the mid to high 70s throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. She said.

Temperatures will reach the highest peak of warmer temperatures with 75 degrees on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
