A Stevenson Ranch woman received the maximum allowable sentence to a charge related to a fatal DUI crash she caused last August.

Two Albertsons locations in Santa Clarita, one on The Old Road and one on Soledad Canyon Road, will be closing in mid February. A company evaluation determined that these two stores were underperforming, an Albertsons spokeswoman said.

A brush fire near The Old Road and Victoria Road was reported at about 9 p.m. Friday night.
