The City of Santa Clarita is set to host two host community blood drives next week to aid the American Red Cross.
The City of Santa Clarita invites residents to embrace the giving spirit this holiday season and donate blood on Tuesday, Dec. 3 and Friday, Dec. 6 to help those in need, according to officials.
“Every two seconds, somebody in the U.S. needs blood,” said Carrie Lujan, spokesperson for the City of Santa Clarita, in an official statement. “The City of Santa Clarita is committed to helping the American Red Cross in their life-saving efforts and encourages residents to come together again to support this meaningful cause.”
The blood drive on Tuesday is scheduled to take place at The Centre, located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To schedule an appointment online, enter the sponsor code “SportsComplexSC” at the Red Cross website.

The first opportunity is set to be in the Century Room at City Hall, located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard. Stop by between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to donate. Use the sponsor code “CityOfSantaClarita” to register.
