Man suffers multiple bites from tiger at compound.

A man was mauled when he was working with a tiger Monday afternoon at Shambala Preserve in Acton.

The victim, described only as a male in his 40s, was treated by paramedics for multiple bites and was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.

April Dull of the L.A. County Fire Department said that fire officials notified the state Department of Fish and Game of the incident, which is normal when a wild animal is involved.
