A new tea room is opening in Newhall later this summer, featuring over 50 teas for guests to enjoy and space to host special events.
Teagan’s Enchanted Tea Room is coming to Main Street in Old Town Newhall next month, where tea lovers can enjoy an afternoon of tea, pastries and special events.
“I think it’s going to be a perfect addition to Main Street,” said Meagan Heredia, co-owner of Teagan’s Enchanted Tea Room.
The business is located in between The Soccer Planet and an empty building on the corner of 8th and Main Street.

The new Tea Room is set to be a restaurant with reservable space available for large parties such as bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, kids parties and several other things with a private room for specific events.
Tea drinkers don’t have to have an event to enjoy the restaurant on Main Street, guests can walk in and enjoy afternoon tea and pastries.
The tea room is set to have over 50 teas – including ceremonial matcha – for guests to enjoy, as well as sandwiches, salads and soups at the shop or on the go.

The idea started two years ago when Heredia and her partner and co-owner of the restaurant considered opening a business together.
“This is gonna be a great tea shop that we are so excited for and we also love drinking tea,” said Heredia.
The new business is the second dedicated tea room in Santa Clarita, following in the footsteps of the beloved Tea Elle C Garden Cafe located on Bouquet Canyon Road.
The grand opening is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 1, but it could be pushed to the middle of August.
