“All residents who had a testing appointment at an impacted testing site will be notified via email to reschedule their appointment,” Thursday’s statement reads. “For residents who did not provide an email, a notification will be made via phone call.”
The closures come after officials with the South Coast Air Quality Management District issued a smoke advisory for the Santa Clarita Valley due to smoke from the Bobcat Fire, and other surrounding fires burning in California.
Despite these temporary closures, other testing sites remain open across Los Angeles County. Residents can call 2-1-1 for more information, or click here.
