Canyon Country Power Outage Impacts Over 2,000 Residents

Over 2,000 residents were left without power Saturday night as a result of a Canyon Country power outage.

At around 10:45 p.m., officials with Southern California Edison (SCE) began to receive reports of a power outage in the area near Pinetree Community School in Canyon Country.

After investigating these reports, officials estimated that approximately 2,237 SCE customers had been impacted by the Canyon Country power outage.

While the exact cause of the outage was not known as of 11:15 p.m., officials estimated that most residents would have their power restored by 11:32 p.m. Saturday.
