An assault suspect was arrested yesterday after ramming his truck into another person’s vehicle over a business dispute last month. 

On Nov. 13, at 2:30 p.m. deputies received a possible assault call in Gorman at Gorman Post Road and Gorman School Road, according to Deputy Natalie Arriaga with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. 

“The suspect purposefully rammed his truck into the victim’s truck over a business dispute, causing significant damage to the victim’s vehicle,” said Arriaga. 

No injuries were reported as a result of the crime, though the victim was medically evaluated. 

At the time of the crime, the suspect remained outstanding but was arrested yesterday through investigation work from detectives. 

Carlos Velasquezsoto, 47, of Torrance was arrested for felony assault.
