Deputies are investigating a Newhall robbery Tuesday morning that resulted in multiple juveniles being taken into custody, officials said.
Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, deputies received reports of a group of individuals who were allegedly fighting on Railroad Avenue and 15th Street in Newhall, said Shirley Miller, a spokesperson with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“The incident is now being classified as a robbery,” Miller said.
Four juveniles were detained and taken to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, according to Sheriff’s officials.
The victim was treated at the scene and was not transported to the hospital, said Austin Bennett, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
