“The Tommye D. Warner Annex and all the improvements we’re making to Valley View will benefit the campus community for many years,” said Albert Giacomazzi, AMG’s President and CEO. “All of as at AMG are proud to be able to contribute to the education of young students in the Santa Clarita Valley in such a meaningful way.”
AMG is a Santa Clarita, California-based contracting company.
The new two-story building honors the late Tommye D. Warner, who was a school psychologist and director of special education in the Sulphur Springs School District for 16 years. The first floor of the building will be designated specifically for special needs students with a “state-of-the-art” playground area.
The building is part of a larger $13.2 million project expected to be completed in spring 2017, according to officials.
AMG continues work on the Valley View campus with additions and renovations such as the installation of fire sprinklers, creating new parking, upgrading utilities and installing a new elevator.
