The 13th Annual Home And Garden Show Is Happening This Weekend!

The 13th annual Home and Garden Show is happening this Saturday and Sunday, with over 400 vendors ready to serve over 22,000 attendees.

The event is set to be hosted at Central Park located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission and parking is FREE!

The Emergency Expo will also be held on Saturday, where children will have the opportunity to ride shotgun in a fire engine, sound the siren from a sheriff’s patrol vehicle and witness the “Jaws of Life” demonstration put on by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The Gilchrist Farm offers pig races, pony rides and petting zoos. Furthermore, the SCV Water-sponsored special event at the butterfly tent is returning.

Discover the latest in home improvements, grab a bite to eat from a fan-favorite food truck, or enjoy an afternoon of adventure with live animals, a butterfly tent, and hands-on activities with first responders at the Home & Garden Show.

The event is sponsored by Providence Holy Cross, which is considered to be a major caretaker for Santa Clarita, San Fernando, and the Simi Valley communities.

They provide for a wide variety of health needs, including physical, mental and several other things, to help improve health.

Other sponsors of the KHTS Home and Garden Show include Southern California Edison, Santa Clarita Grocery and Santa Clarita Water.

About Carl Goldman

Carl Goldman, along with his wife, Jeri repurchased KHTS AM-1220, Santa Clarita’s hometown station on October 24, 2003. They owned it from 1990-1998, and then sold it to Clear Channel Communication in 1998, buying it back from Clear Channel in 2003. Since then, they have rebuilt KHTS as a critical voice of the Valley. In 2015 the radio station moved to its new headquarters on Main Street in Old Town Newhall, in the original Newhall Hardware building. In 2018 an FM was added, 98.1, with its signal being simulcast with AM-1220. In January 2020, Carl and Jeri cruised on the Diamond Princess. Carl was one of the first Americans to come down with Covid-19. Months earlier he was impacted by Guillain Barre Syndrome as a result of a Shingles vaccine in September 2019. He is still in recovery from the vaccine.
