After more than a month in coronavirus quarantine, KHTS Owner Carl Goldman is offering Santa Clarita Valley residents some advice on what not to do during their quarantines. “Throughout my now 46 quarantine days I’ve discovered through trial and error many things I shouldn’t be doing while in quarantine. Here’s my list. However, unlike David Letterman it’s not in any order.”

What: Enjoy beer-battered cod served with coleslaw and a choice of French fries, rice pilaf or beans. Fish tacos are also available and served with rice and beans. Take-out only. The price is $11 for a two-piece dinner or the two-fish taco plate, or $12 for a three-piece dinner. Cash and credit cards are accepted. All proceeds benefit local charities and families in need.

What: Mary Zimmerman’s “The Secret in the Wings” adapts a group of lesser-known fairy tales to create a theatrical work that sets their dark mystery against her signature wit and humor. The framing story concerns a child and the frightening babysitter with whom her parents leave her. As the babysitter reads from a book, the characters in each of the tales materialize, with each tale breaking off just at its bleakest moment before giving way to the next one.

Canyon Country Optimist Club’s Annual Charity Quarter Auction
