Santa Clarita life coach Alex Urbina was live on-air this week on his weekly radio show to talk about the power in letting go of the fear of being vulnerable, and how important it is to teach our kids to process and understand their feelings.

Having a fear of being vulnerable can make you miss out on deep, meaningful, and loving relationships, says Alex. He says it’s important to share with family and friends about our feelings, and that doing this can make relationships stronger.

Alex goes on to talk with his co-host Ellen Tunick, about the freedom that comes with being comfortable with vulnerability, saying he can feel his feelings and not care what other people are going to think of him.

Both Ellen and Alex go on to talk about the importance of letting kids feel their feelings and help them process them without fear. Those kids who can’t process feelings grow up to be adults who can’t process their feelings, says Alex.

Ellen says that staying in the moment, and checking in with herself about how she is feeling helps her avoid being a “robot,” and helps her process her feelings.
