Circle of Hope, a Santa Clarita non-profit dedicated to helping provide relief to families battling cancer across the valley, has teamed up with several local wineries, breweries and culinary outlets to raise funds for its mission at the Bella Vida Center.
Circle of Hope’s annual Vine2Wine event invites the community out for an evening of wine tasting, food, music and connection, all for a cause that hits close to home for many.
“Vine2Wine is one of our fundraisers for Circle of Hope, where people can come out, try a bunch of different wineries, enjoy some great food and great music, and hang out with the community,” said Alexander Hafizi, co-chair of the event.
This year’s lineup of participants includes Pisoni Vineyards, Reyes Winery, Pulchella Winery, Lucky Luke Brewing Company, Boochcraft, Brewery Draconum and more, bringing together a wide range of local flavors for attendees to enjoy.
Hafizi added that one of the most unique aspects of the event is the opportunity for guests to connect directly with those behind the pours.
“The cool thing is that the owners are actually here, so you’re able to talk to them and get to know who they are. It’s a really cool connection,” he said.
The catering, provided by Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Company, complements the wine selection and showcases some of the best local cuisine.
At its core, the event supports Circle of Hope’s mission—providing free resources and support to individuals and families navigating a cancer diagnosis.
“Circle of Hope is a resource center for those going through cancer. We help with second opinions, offer art classes, yoga, Reiki and support so people don’t feel alone,” said Donna Basta, chair of Circle of Hope.
The organization offers a wide range of services at no cost, not only for patients but also for caregivers.
“Our facility is free to anyone going through cancer or even caretakers. They can come in, take classes and access over 20 different services at any time,” Hafizi said.
For many involved, the cause is deeply personal.
“This year, it really hit home for me. I now have family and close friends undergoing treatment—it’s so important,” Basta said.
All proceeds from ticket purchases go directly toward supporting Santa Clarita Valley families affected by cancer, helping cover medical-related expenses, wellness services and support programs.
Circle of Hope leaders say events like Vine2Wine are about more than just fundraising—they’re about community.
“Cancer hits a lot of people, so we’re here for those people in Santa Clarita,” Hafizi said.
Through awareness, connection and continued community support, Circle of Hope aims to ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.
