Zena Taher moved to Santa Clarita when she was 12 years old. She has always been a voracious reader, which led her to take an interest in writing professionally. After graduating high school in 2019, she began attending College of the Canyons, where she rediscovered her passion for writing.
She chose to double-major in journalism and communications and is set to graduate June 2021. In fall of 2020, she finally worked up the nerve to apply to a position as an intern at KHTS.
She joined the news staff as a full-fledged employee the following spring. Zena hopes to use journalism as a tool to inform others and inspire change.
